As many of you know, one of our own Delta Delta brothers was recently appointed Executive Director of Delta Sigma Phi National. Patrick Jessee ’01, checked in with us about his new role and his vision for Delta Sig to become America’s Leading Fraternity by 2025.

Alumni Contribution a Success for the Grand Prix Team 
We asked and you answered! This year, the undergrads were in a bit of a tiff; their kart engine was failing and needed a new one for the forever known Purdue Grand Prix, which was held on April 20th at the Purdue Grand Prix track. With much interest from many alumni, we were successful in raising over $2,000 in less than 2 weeks to get our racing team back on their feet.

Recent Actives Bring Back a Sacred Tradition This month marked many of things, though one tradition that is well known has been reincarnated to a formal tradition; 4 Brothers partook in this Greek tradition and added a special twist to it. These 4 brothers took the next step of their relationship and promised more through the lavaliering of their significant other.

Remembering Our Heroes this May May is just several weeks away. This year, we’d like to share your thoughts, messages, and memories of those soldiers who have served their country. Maybe you want to send well-wishes to a brother who may have lost a family member in Afghanistan or Iraq? Or you simply want to share a fond memory of a long-lost brother who died in combat?

Undergrads Participate in Google SIY Workshop 
Many corporations are focusing on the concept of “vertical” development of employees, think things like “Seven Habits” classes and other programs that help grow the individual vs. traditional training to grow task skills. One such program that has received a lot press is Google’s Search Inside Yourself Workshop (
http://www.siyli.org/). The SIY Workshop has a 600 person waiting list for Google employees, but this month the Delta Sig undergrads had the opportunity to participate in this two-day workshop.
